Terms
Terms
Bubo is a macOS app made by Weeknd Labs. These terms cover using it and buying a Pro key. Plain language, because you should be able to read them.
The two plans
Personal is free. No account, no time limit, no nagging. It is the same application as Pro.
Pro is a one-off payment of $29. It gives you a license key valid on up to three Macs that you own or use, and updates for as long as this major version is current. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.
Your key
The key is issued to your account and is yours to use on your own machines. Do not publish it or sell it on. You can move a key between your own Macs by freeing a slot.
A key stops being valid if the purchase behind it is refunded or charged back. Bubo then goes back to Personal, which keeps working.
Buying
Payments are taken by Paddle, who are the merchant of record. Your contract for the purchase is with them, their terms apply to the transaction, and the receipt comes from them. The price you see at checkout includes whatever tax your country charges. Refunds are covered on the refunds page.
What we do not promise
Bubo is provided as it is. We work on it and we fix what we can, but we cannot promise it is free of faults or that it suits a particular purpose. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Changing these terms
If these terms change, the version in force for your purchase is the one on this page on the day you bought. The date below says when it last moved.
